Note: This is a working template, not legal advice. Please have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer and replace every bracketed placeholder before relying on it.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and services provided by Zie Pie LLC ("ZiePieBooks", "we", "us"). By using the service you agree to these Terms.
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the service. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
The platform is newly launched and under active development. It's provided "as is" and may change, have limited availability, or contain rough edges. We may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves.
You and your firm keep ownership of the data and content you put into the platform. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process it so we can provide the service. We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Your first three client businesses are free. Beyond that, each client business is billed at the rate shown on our pricing page, per business, per month, in advance. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled.
You may cancel at any time before your next monthly renewal. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for and then ends. We do not charge you again after cancellation. Any prorated amount owed to you is refunded to your original payment method within 30 days of the cancellation taking effect. [Confirm final billing and refund wording with legal counsel.]
The platform, including its software, design, and brand, belongs to us or our licensors. These Terms don't transfer any of those rights to you beyond the right to use the service.
The platform connects to third-party services such as bank connectivity providers (for example Plaid). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms.
The service supports your firm's work but doesn't replace professional judgment. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your books and for meeting your own regulatory obligations. [Confirm wording with legal counsel.]
[Insert limitation of liability appropriate to your jurisdiction and business, reviewed by a lawyer.]
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are breached. On termination, you can export your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and disputes will be handled by the courts of [jurisdiction].
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here and update the date above. Continued use means you accept the changes.
